Kolo Muani keen to stay at Juventus after loan spell

Randal Kolo Muani says he hopes to stay at Juventus after the end of his loan deal.

Kolo Muani joined Juventus on loan from Paris Saint-Germain in January until the end of the season, with the deal extended to include the Italian side’s participation in the Club World Cup.

The Frenchman has scored eight goals in Serie A for Juventus, the second-highest total in the squad, and averages a goal every 145.5 minutes. He outperformed his expected goals (xG), netting his haul from just 4.7 xG.

He also boasts the second-best shot conversion rate in the squad (30.8%), behind only Nicolo Savona and Samuel Mbangula (both 33.3%).

Kolo Muani also scored twice in Juve’s Club World Cup opener against Al Ain on Wednesday, producing a standout performance.

And he hinted that he would like to stay at Juventus next season.

“Honestly, I feel very good here,” he told Mediaset.

“I can play well and score goals. I am happy, I hope to stay.”

Manchester United are also reportedly interested in the 26-year-old should Juventus be unable to reach an agreement with PSG.
