James Gunn just revealed if Marvel is canon within the DC universe after a recent reference on Peacemaker.

While speaking with Brandon Davis, Gunn said that Marvel does indeed exist in the DC universe, clarifying that the Spider-Man reference on Peacemaker confirmed it. The same goes the other way too, as his Guardians of the Galaxy Christmas special mentioned Batman. “I’ve created DC in the Marvel Universe, and I’ve created Marvel within the DC Universe. Pretty cool,” he said.
