Two weeks ago, Reddit user Cheyennigins4 took to the Fallout subreddit to share her spectacular Lucy cosplay, which has already accumulated an impressive 24,000 upvotes. The cosplay is also notable because she appears to be posing with a service dog who just happens to be a Dogmeat look-alike, making the cosplay all the more authentic thanks to this chance encounter.

The service dog appears to be a German Shepard, a breed that is visually a close match to the Belgian Malinois. This is the actual breed of CX404 (Dogmeat) in the Fallout TV series, primarily played by the canine actor Lana 5.
While not an exact match, most agree that the German Shepard and Cheyennigins’ cosplay is so convincing that they almost feel like a teased upgrade for the two characters ahead of Season 3.
