FA Cup text updates, stats, goals from fourth round

Salford could be forgiven for having feelings of apprehension over their FA Cup fourth round tie at Manchester City on Saturday.

The League Two side were beaten 8-0 at the Etihad Stadium last season, while City put 10 past Exeter in the previous round this time around.

The only crumb of positivity for the visitors is the fact Pep Guardiola will field a much-changed line-up after admitting many of his key players were “exhausted” following the midweek win over Fulham.

Salford have not played since February 5, when they lost 1-0 at Accrington. They sit sixth in League Two.
