Every Confirmed Celebrity Guest At Star Wars Celebration 2025

Star Wars Celebration 2025 is just around the corner in April, and so far, the Star Wars names attached to the Tokyo, Japan celebration are amazing. Star Wars Celebration is a nearly annual event that celebrates all things from a galaxy far, far away. The last Star Wars Celebration was held in London, England in 2023, and featured many panels that looked forward to upcoming Star Wars releases, as well as back at some of the best moments from Star Wars history.

With Star Wars Celebration coming in late April, fans can likely expect sneak peeks at upcoming Star Wars projects like Andor season 2, and The Mandalorian and Grogu movie. Along with sneak peeks, fans can hope for announcements on upcoming series, movies, and more. Additionally, with a robust list of Star Wars alumni, fans can expect interesting and diverse talks with the people who star in and make Star Wars shows, movies, and comics. Fans, however, may be most interested in seeing certain celebrities there. Here are all the confirmed celebrity guests attending this year’s Star Wars Celebration.

Despite Jar Jar Binks being one of the most hated characters in cinematic history, Ahmed Best has still played the character for over 20 years. The actor received unwarranted hate after portraying the Gungan but has since found redemption by playing Jedi Master Kelleran Beq in The Mandalorian. It’s unclear when, or if, Best will return to play the Jedi that rescued Grogu from the Jedi Temple during Order 66, but hopes are high.

Ahmed Best hasn’t done much outside of Star Wars but has played Darth Jar Jar in LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy. Outside of Star Wars, Best has had guest roles on shows like Law & Order: LA, Big Time Rush, and Cougar Town. Hopefully, we’ll get an announcement from Best about his return to Star Wars at Celebration.

Doug Chiang

Lucasfilm Senior Vice President & Executive Design Director

Though not a Star Wars actor, Doug Chiang is an essential part of how Star Wars is made. For decades, Chiang has been lending himself to Star Wars and Lucasfilm as a whole, contributing to crucial aspects such as concept art and production design. Most recently, he completed the latter for TV shows such as The Mandalorian and Ahsoka.

Chiang has certainly become something of a Star Wars legend in his own right, even without necessarily being featured on the screen. He details his own work and that of the teams he oversees in books such as The Art of series, which covers concept art from titles such as Star Wars: The High Republic, The Mandalorian, and even Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. Chiang will be attending this year’s Star Wars Celebration, more than likely ready to share plenty of fun facts and wisdom to share with the event’s guests.

Cast as Anakin Skywalker in Attack of the Clones, Hayden Christensen has become one of the most-loved actors in the entire Star Wars franchise. The Star Wars sequel trilogy has come of age, and his reputation has improved greatly; so much so that he’s now returned to the franchise, appearing in both Obi-Wan Kenobi and Ahsoka season 1. The latter even gave him a chance to show the Anakin of the Clone Wars.

There have been rumors that Christensen will return again in Ahsoka season 2, while there’s also been a lot of chatter about future team-ups with Ewan McGregor. If these reports are correct, they’ll no doubt be confirmed at Celebration. In any case, this year will be huge for Christensen; it’s the 20th anniversary of Revenge of the Sith, meaning he’s sure to participate in a major panel.

Anthony Daniels has appeared in nearly every Star Wars title as the lovable protocol droid, C-3PO. Daniels was in the suit as the droid for the majority of his Star Wars tenure and has made cameos throughout the nearly 50 years Star Wars has been around. Not only has Daniels portrayed C-3PO, but he’s also made cameos as Dannl Faytonni in Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones and Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith. Hopefully, it won’t be too much longer before we see C-3PO and Anthony Daniels pop back up in Star Wars.

The only Star Wars film to not feature C-3PO is Solo: A Star Wars Story, but Daniels makes a cameo as a different character.

While Anthony Daniels is best known for voicing C-3PO, he’s done plenty of other work. In the early part of Daniels’ career, he had guest spots on shows like The Country Diary of an Edwardian Lady, and Square Deal. More recently, Daniels has stepped back and done a lot of voice acting, mostly for LEGO Star Wars, once again voicing C-3PO.

Rosario Dawson made her debut as Ahsoka Tano in The Mandalorian season 2, episode 5 “Chapter 13: The Jedi.” While Ahsoka Tano had been a mainstay in Star Wars animation, Dawson’s turn as the former Jedi was the first time she was seen in live-action. Dawson made another cameo in The Book of Boba Fett alongside Mark Hamill as Luke Skywalker. Following that appearance, Ahsoka Tano was next seen in her own Disney+ show, Ahsoka, which is set for season 2.

Since her debut in The Clone Wars movie, Ahsoka Tano has become one of the franchise’s most important characters. Here’s her journey (so far).

Outside of portraying Ahsoka Tano, Rosario Dawson is an accomplished actor and activist, best known for portraying Claire Temple in the Netflix Marvel shows like Daredevil and Luke Cage. Dawson also featured in the 2003 film Shattered Glass, marking the first time she worked with Anakin Skywalker actor, Hayden Christensen. More recently, Rosario Dawson starred in the Disney remake of The Haunted Mansion as Gabbie. However, come April, fans can see Dawson at Star Wars Celebration.

Ashley Eckstein was the first person to portray the Jedi Padawan to Anakin Skywalker, Ahsoka Tano. Eckstein has voiced the character across multiple television shows and films, and always manages to bring grace to her voice that’s worthy of being a Jedi. Though we haven’t heard Eckstein as Ahsoka Tano in nearly three years, hopefully she’ll make a live-action cameo in Ahsoka season 2.

Outside of voicing Ahsoka Tano, Eckstein has had a successful career in voice acting. She portrayed Mia the Bluebird in Sofia The First from 2012-2018 and has recently voiced Cheetah in multiple DC animated projects. Outside of voice acting, Eckstein also runs a fashion company called Her Universe, which sells merchandise for many fandoms, including Star Wars and Ahsoka Tano.

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker

2019

Oscar Isaac, who portrays the Resistance’s best pilot, Poe Dameron, in the Star Wars sequel trilogy, will also be appearing at this year’s Star Wars Celebration. News of Isaac’s presence is especially thrilling with Rey’s upcoming New Jedi Order movie currently in development, which could very well mean that Poe may be a part of the film set years after the events of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. Isaac is a beloved part of the Star Wars sequel trilogy, and is even a big part of Disney Parks’ famed Rise of the Resistance attraction.

Isaac was also one of the few Star Wars stars to ever visit/tour the now-defunct Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser at Walt Disney World prior to its closure.

Isaac is a highly acclaimed actor outside his work on Star Wars. Staying within the sci-fi genre, Isaac portrayed Duke Leto Atreides in Dune, making him a part of the franchise that directly inspired many aspects of Star Wars itself. Within the Disney family, Isaac also played Steven Grant/Marc Spector/Jake Lloyd in Marvel’s Moon Knight TV show. There are plenty of other iconic roles Isaac has lent himself to, with even more set on the horizon, but his role as Poe is certainly amongst his most memorable and beloved.

Manny Jacinto

The Stranger / Qimir

Titles Featuring Manny Jacinto

Year

The Acolyte

2024

Manny Jacinto made waves last summer when he portrayed the villainous The Stranger in the short-lived Star Wars series The Acolyte. Portraying a seemingly former Jedi and student of Jedi Master Vernestra Rwoh, The Stranger instead turned to the dark side and was looking for an Acolyte. While audiences may never know what happens with Qimir and Osha (Amandla Stenberg), it’ll be great to see Jacinto discuss the show that showed off some of the best lightsaber combat in recent memory.

Outside of Star Wars, Manny Jacinto may best be known for portraying the lovable but goofy Jason Mendoza in The Good Place. Since then, Jacinto had a main role in Nine Perfect Strangers season 1, where he played Yao. Jacinto has also been featured in films like Top Gun: Maverick, though his role was severely diminished when the film hit theaters.

John Knoll

ILM Visual Effects Supervisor & Co-Creator Of Photoshop

Like Chiang, he may not be a Star Wars actor, but John Knoll is certainly a celebrity within the franchise thanks to all the incredible work he’s done for the galaxy over the years. Knoll is an Academy Award-winning visual effects supervisor at Industrial Light & Magic (ILM) who’s spent nearly 40 years with the company. He’s worked on many different Star Wars projects and continues to be a leading part of why this galaxy can truly feel so real on the screen.

Outside Star Wars, Knoll is credited as a co-creator of Photoshop, which has become absolutely essential to our society today. He has accomplished plenty both within and outside the galaxy, and as indicated by the nearly 10-year-old interview above, he has done so for quite some time. He will be one of the guests at this year’s Star Wars Celebration, providing insight as to how these movies come to life.

Daniel Logan

Titles Featuring Daniel Logan

Year

Daniel Logan is best known for portraying the young version of Boba Fett in Attack of the Clones, as well as the younger version of all the clone troopers in Star Wars. Unlike Temuera Morrison, Logan was brought back to voice young Boba Fett and young clone cadets in The Clone Wars. Most recently, Logan returned to voice teenage clone cadets in The Bad Batch season 3. Daniel Logan hasn’t done much acting outside of Star Wars, but did have a role in Sharknado 4.

With Star Wars Celebration on the horizon, fans can expect more celebrity announcements in the coming weeks. Like in 2023, there were many surprise guests that weren’t announced beforehand, so fans should keep an eye out for surprise appearances. No matter what, it’s clear that Star Wars Celebration 2025 is set to be one of the best yet.

Diego Luna

Cassian Andor

Titles Featuring Diego Luna

Year

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story

2016

Andor

2022-2025

Diego Luna shot to Star Wars fame in 2016 when he starred opposite Felicity Jones in Rogue One. Cassian Andor was an instant fan-favorite, and many wished they could have gotten to see more from Cassian and the rest of the Rogue One characters before their deaths on Scarif. Wishes were granted when Luna returned to the role in 2022 for a prequel series, Andor. Andor season 2 is set to come out days after Star Wars Celebration, so Diego Luna may have some spoilers for those attending.

Outside of Star Wars, Diego Luna is an accomplished actor, producer, and director. In 2018-2020 he starred in Narcos: Mexico as Miguel Angel Félix Gallardo on Netflix, but prior to that, he had film roles in If Beale Street Could Talk and Berlin, I Love You. Diego Luna also starred in Katy Perry’s 2011 music video for “The One That Got Away.”

Vanessa Marshall

Hera Syndulla

Titles Featuring Diego Luna

Year

Star Wars Rebels

Star Wars: The Bad Batch

2021

One of the most popular voice actors in Star Wars Rebels, Vanessa Marshall is best known for playing the part of Hera Syndulla. The character has become an iconic one, even returning in Star Wars: The Bad Batch, while Mary Elizabeth Winstead plays the live-action Hera in Ahsoka. The Bad Batch‘s finale set up future adventures featuring the clone Omega, an old friend of Hera’s, and this is generally viewed as setup.

Lucasfilm is believed to have a mystery animation in the works, and it’s entirely possible Marshall’s presence at Star Wars Celebration means she’ll be involved. At the very least, she’s been a constant presence at Star Wars animation panels over the years, often hosting them. This is another actor to keep an eye out for at Celebration.

Mads Mikkelsen

Galen Erso

Titles Featuring Mads Mikkelsen

Year

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story

2016

Mads Mikkelsen brought Death Star architect Galen Erso to life in 2016’s Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. In the film, he portrayed the main character Jyn Erso’s father, Galen, who had been taken into custody of the Empire and forced to build the Death Star. The whole plot of the film revolves around Galen creating a fault in the Death Star plans, which would ultimately lead to the station’s destruction in the original Star Wars film (later retitled A New Hope).

While Mikkelsen will be appearing in Toyko for Star Wars Celebration, fans may also know him for portraying the villainous Kaecilius in the first Doctor Strange film. Additionally, the Danish actor took on the role of Dr. Hannibal Lecter in the prequel series, Hannibal, from 2013-2015. Mikkelsen has a great report with Lucasfilm, as he also starred in 2023’s Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny as Dr. Jurgen Voller. It’s unclear if Mikkelsen will reprise his role of Galen Erso in Andor season 2, but Star Wars Celebration seems like the perfect place to announce his return.

Temuera Morrison first appeared in Star Wars in Attack of the Clones, but after so much mistreatment during the prequel trilogy, Morrison returned to a galaxy far, far away 15 years later to portray Boba Fett in The Mandalorian and its subsequent spin-off The Book of Boba Fett. While The Book of Boba Fett was a bit of a letdown, Morrison shined in the role, and it’s no wonder fans still want more from the famed bounty hunter. Also portraying the clones in live-action, it’s clear that it’s not the last time Temuera Morrison’s face or voice will appear onscreen.

Outside his work in Star Wars, Morrison has had many film and television roles. While many of his roles come out of his native country, New Zealand, Morrison also took on the role of Tom Curry, Arthur Curry’s father, in the Aquaman films. Additionally, Morrison lent his voice to Chief Tui in the animated Disney hits Moana and Moana 2.

Alan Tudyk is best known in Star Wars for voicing the rewired Imperial droid K-2SO in Rogue One. K-2SO was the droid was the companion to Cassian Andor in Rogue One but is also slated to return for Andor season 2. It will be amazing to see the pair reunited, though it’s unclear how many episodes Tudyk will be in. Knowing that Andor season 2 premieres right after Star Wars Celebration, it’s no wonder why Tudyk will be attending the event.

Alan Tudyk is wildly successful outside of Star Wars, being dubbed as Disney’s good-luck charm in animated projects. Tudyk also has a robust live-action filmography, with roles like Steve the Pirate in Dodgeball, and Ben Chapman in the Jackie Robinson biopic 42. Tudyk has also had starring roles on the small screen in Resident Alien, Suburgatory, and Doom Patrol season 1.

Sam Witwer is a mainstay in Star Wars, as he works and provides his voice for nearly every Star Wars title. Witwer has previously said that he doesn’t know how many Star Wars characters he’s played because sometimes he just does one line and never voices them again. However, Witwer is best known for voicing Darth Maul in animation. Witwer helped rewrite Maul’s legacy and made him one of the best villains in all of Star Wars. With vocal cameos happening regularly, it likely won’t be long before we hear Sam Witwer’s voice back in Star Wars.

Sam Witwer has also played Starkiller in the non-canon Star Wars: The Force Unleashed video game.

Sam Witwer has also played Starkiller in the non-canon Star Wars: The Force Unleashed video game.
