ENG vs IND [WATCH]:Gautam Gambhir’s tribute to Ravindra Jadeja after Lord’s heroics leaves fans emotional

In a touching gesture, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) shared a heartfelt video on Ravindra Jadeja following the Lord’s Test. Jadeja was massively praised for his gritty innings in the fourth innings, which sadly ended in a losing cause. The emotional tribute struck a chord with fans and soon became a major talking point on social media.

In a warm and emotional video titled “The MVP ft. Ravindra Jadeja”, the BCCI paid tribute to the all-rounder’s fighting effort during the Lord’s Test. Released on July 18, the video features praise from teammates and coaches, recognising Jadeja’s determined partnership with Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj that lasted over 34 overs. Head coach Gautam Gambhir called the effort as “incredible fight”, while assistant coach Ryan ten Doeschate admired Jadeja’s calmness and improved technique with the bat.

The video also offers a glimpse into Jadeja’s off-field personality— enjoying light moments during training, and helping maintain a positive vibe in the squad. Batting coach Sitanshu Kotak spoke about his ability to absorb pressure in tough situations, and players like Shubman Gill and Siraj described him as an extraordinary player. The tribute stood out not just for celebrating Jadeja’s performance, but also for showing the leadership, heart, and energy he brings to the Indian team.
