Rangers and Celtic have confirmed their starting teams for their meeting at Ibrox in the Scottish Cup quarter-finals on Sunday.

The arch-rivals shared an epic in the same setting in the Premiership a week ago, when Celtic recovered from 2-0 behind and secured a 2-2 draw through Reo Hatate’s 91st-minute equaliser.

Rangers confirmed starting team vs Celtic

Forwards Mikey Moore and Ryan Naderi were both doubts for Rangers but start. Defender Derek Cornelius (muscle) and midfielder Bailey Rice (knee) are injured.

Head coach Danny Rohl makes two alterations, introducing centre-back Nasser Djiga and midfielder Mohamed Diomande for John Souttar and Tochi Chukwuani.

Dane Murray had been a doubt but is on the bench. Fellow defenders Cameron Carter-Vickers (Achilles), Alistair Johnston (hamstring), (muscle) and Kieran Tierney (foot) are injured, as is Callum McGregor, so Liam Scales is captain.

Midfielder Arne Engels (thigh) and forwards Jota (knee) and Callum Osmand (hamstring) are also out. Goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel is ill.
