Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca has named his starting line-up for tonight’s Champions League clash against Benfica at Stamford Bridge.
The Blues suffered a disappointing 3-1 loss to Brighton & Hove Albion in the Premier League last weekend and will be aiming to return to winning ways against Jose Mourinho‘s side.
Ahead of the game, Maresca has made a few changes from the Seagulls loss. Robert Sanchez continues in goal for the west London giants.
However, there are changes in the backline. Malo Gusto comes in for Reece James at right-back while Benoit Badiashile comes in for Jorrel Hato in central defence.
Trevoh Chalobah and Marc Cucurella make up the rest of the defence. Further forward, Moises Caicedo will accompany Enzo Fernandez in central midfield.
Facundo Bounanotte starts in the no.10 role tonight. Pedro Neto and Alejandro Garnacho start on the right and left wing while Tyrique George leads the line.
Confirmed Chelsea line-up (4-2-3-1) vs Benfica: Sanchez; Gusto, Chalobah, Badiashile, Cucurella; Caicedo, Enzo; Neto, Bounanotte, Garnacho; George.
