Chelsea to face Port Vale in FA Cup

Chelsea are scheduled to face League One side Port Vale in the FA Cup quarter-final at Stamford Bridge next month.

The Blues progressed to the last eight of the Cup competition after a 4-2 victory over Wrexham on the road. They had to work hard for the result and only won the game in extra time.

The club have now been drawn against Port Vale in the quarter-final. The League One outfit have had a dismal campaign and they are placed 24th in the league and are destined for relegation.

Hence, they are huge underdogs against Chelsea in the next stage of the famous old competition. The Blues should be expected to secure a resounding victory over Port Vale at home.

Chelsea have had a hectic schedule since the turn of the year and manager Liam Rosenior has the opportunity to ring in the changes and rest most of his league regulars for the FA Cup clash.
