Chelsea suffer double setback for Djurgarden clash

Chelsea have suffered a double injury blow ahead of the first leg of the Conference League semi-final against Djurgarden on Thursday night.

The Blues will be on the road for the first leg of the semi-finals. Ahead of the trip, the club have suffered a double setback, according to BBC Sport.

Robert Sanchez was superb in the recent 1-0 Premier League win over Everton, but he has not made the squad due to a leg injury in the same game.

Christopher Nkunku has been in-and-out of the line-up in recent outings and he has been ruled out for the encounter with a small knock in training this week.

The duo are set to remain in London as a precaution. They will continue to be assessed and could be fit for the second leg at Stamford Bridge next week.

Chelsea are overwhelming favourites to win the Conference League. They will aim for a solid victory tomorrow ahead of the return leg at home.
