Chelsea goalkeeper Djordje Petrovic has joined Bournemouth for a reported fee of £25 million.
The Cherries signed Kepa Arrizabalaga on loan from the Blues last summer. The Spaniard had a good stint, keeping nine clean sheets for the South Coast outfit.
Despite this, the club were unable to retain his services. Arsenal eventually signed Arrizabalaga as a backup goalkeeper for compatriot David Raya.
Bournemouth have now opted to sign Petrovic from Chelsea. The Serbian spent the previous campaign on loan with French outfit Strasbourg.
The 25-year-old was one of the standout goalkeepers in the French top-flight, and now has the opportunity to prove his credentials in England.
Petrovic was a regular during his penultimate season for the Blues, but he was deemed surplus to requirements under head coach Enzo Maresca last season.
He has now secured a permanent transfer away from the Blues. Bournemouth will be hoping that he can make a similar impression as Arrizabalaga.
