Maresca won’t be sacked by Chelsea

Chelsea have no plans of parting ways with manager Enzo Maresca at the end of the season, as per Daily Mail.

The Blues played out a disappointing 2-2 draw against Ipswich Town in the Premier League at home last weekend.

The club were 2-0 down at the interval and fought hard in the second half to share the spoils against the Tractor Boys.

With the stalemate, the Blues have dropped to sixth in the league table and could miss out on Champions League football.

Despite this, Maresca continues to receive the backing from the hierarchy and there are no plans to dismiss him as of now.

Maresca is also committed to the Blues job and believes he can turnaround their fortunes over the coming weeks.

Chelsea may need to win their remaining six games of the league campaign to qualify for the Champions League.

A top-five finish will guarantee a place in the elite club competition next term.
