Osimhen to Chelsea on the cards?

Chelsea are set to compete with Paris Saint-Germain to sign Napoli striker Victor Osimhen at the end of the campaign.

The Blues were determined to sign the Nigerian star from Napoli last summer, but a deal did not materialise due to a disagreement over personal terms.

The London giants wanted Osimhen to accept a significant pay-cut on his salary, but the 26-year-old was adamant that he would not do so.

Osimhen ended up joining Galatasaray on loan for the campaign. He has been exceptional for them with 26 goals and four assists in 30 outings.

The former Lille man is expected to pursue a bigger challenge and Sky Sport CH claim that PSG and Chelsea are the main contenders for him.

Les Parisiens are eager to bolster their attack further. They are keen on landing Osimhen with Randal Kolo Muani set to leave this summer.

Chelsea could provide stiff competition in the race. They could meet Osimhen’s wage demands if they qualify for the Champions League.
