Chelsea are not planning to enter the race to sign Newcastle United striker Alexander Isak, according to reputed journalist Fabrizio Romano.
The Blues have been busy during the ongoing transfer window and they have already bolstered their strike force with the acquisitions of Liam Delap and Joao Pedro.
Pedro was brilliant during the knock out phase of the Club World Cup and played a big part in their successful tournament in the United States.
The Blues have been linked with Isak over the last few hours, but Romano has insisted that they are not planning a swoop for the Swedish star.
The club are satisfied with the signings of Delap and Pedro, and are now focused on purchasing RB Leipzig attacker Xavi Simons this month.
Simons has already agreed on personal terms with the west London giants and talks are now ongoing with RB Leipzig to negotiate a suitable fee.
Chelsea are keen to secure a quick deal to avoid a possible hijack.
