Chelsea have already made an opening offer to sign Arsenal target Kenan Yildiz from Juventus, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.
The Turkey international is one of the best wingers in Serie A and Juventus are determined to extend his contract with a huge pay rise.
However, they have yet to make progress due to differences over the salary package. Chelsea and Arsenal are keeping a close eye on that.
The Blues made an offer worth €65 million to sign him last summer, but the Bianconeri were adamant that the 20-year-old won’t be sold.
Chelsea are still keen on landing his services, but they are poised to face competition from London rivals Arsenal for the Bayern graduate.
Yildiz managed 12 goals and nine assists in all competitions last season, and he has added another six goal contributions from eight games this term.
He is primarily a left-sided winger, but can play on the right flank or in the number 10 role. He would be a fantastic signing for both clubs.
