Chelsea eyeing Muani deal

Chelsea have expressed an interest in signing Paris Saint-Germain striker Randal Kolo Muani this summer, according to French outlet L’Equipe.

The Blues recently purchased Liam Delap from Ipswich Town, but they are still keen on landing another striker during the transfer window.

Nicolas Jackson and Christopher Nkunku have underperformed for the Blues, and the club are ready to offload both players in the coming weeks.

L’Equipe claim that the Blues are keen to sign Kolo Muani, who is presently on loan with Juventus from Paris Saint-Germain until the Club World Cup.

Kolo Muani had a forgettable spell with Les Parisiens, but he has found his feet with the Bianconeri, scoring 10 goals from 20 appearances.

The Bianconeri are yet to open talks over a possible permanent deal, and Chelsea could seek to take advantage by negotiating with Les Parisiens.

Manchester United have also been linked with the Frenchman in the past, but they are looking at alternative transfer targets this summer.
