Palmeiras wonderkid Estevao Willian will join Chelsea following the Club World Cup, according to his agent Andre Cury.
Willian is considered as one of the best teenagers in world football and his playing style has been likened to Neymar in his prime.
The Blues have an agreement in place to purchase him this summer, but he won’t be joining them for the Club World Cup in the US.
His agent said: “He will join Chelsea after the Club World Cup. He’s a world class player. He’s so good, he will make history at Chelsea. PSG and Bayern both also wanted to sign him.”
Willian has had a fantastic start to his senior career. The 17-year-old has managed 32 goal contributions from 67 games in all competitions.
The left-footed ace has the potential to become a world-class winger, and it remains to be seen whether he can make his mark with the Blues.
The Brazilian ace will represent Palmeiras at the Club World Cup and he could face the Blues if both teams progress until the quarter-final phase.
