Bitesize Prediction: Tamworth vs Forest Green Rovers – 25/03/26

Competition: National League

Market: Goal to be scored in both halves

Odds: 7/10 @ Pribet

Hoping to widen their advantage in the play-off chase on Wednesday night, Forest Green will travel to the Lamb Ground when they meet Tamworth.

Starting with the hosts, while Tamworth might have sprung a real upset earlier in the month as they secured a 2-1 victory against play-off contenders Carlisle, it appears that shock result might have just been a minor boost for the Lambs. Making an immediate return to losing ways over the weekend as they slumped to an action-packed 3-2 defeat against title contenders Rochdale, Andy Peaks’ men are now just clinging to their spot in the top-half of the National League table. Including another 3-2 loss against Wealdstone on March 10th, Tamworth have lost four of their previous five appearances. However, despite showing some worrying defensive struggles, Peaks’ camp will be excited to make a return to Staffordshire in midweek. Signing off February with their own 3-2 victory against Boreham Wood, Wednesday’s hosts have won their last three consecutive showdowns in front of their own supporters by an aggregate score of 10-4.

As for the visitors, making an immediate return to winning ways over the weekend as they secured a deserved 2-0 victory against Wealdstone, Forest Green are sat in the driving seat to punch a play-off ticket this season. Opening the midweek fixtures holding a commanding seven-point buffer from slipping out of the play-off places, Robbie Savage’s side have won three of their previous four National League appearances. Getting March underway with a 2-1 win against Aldershot, Wednesday’s guests should be excited by a stellar record against their midweek hosts. Landing a rollercoaster 4-2 victory when they welcomed Tamworth to the New Lawn for their reverse National League battle on November 11th, Forest Green are unbeaten in their last four meetings against the Lambs across all competitions (three wins, one draw). However, it should be noted, Savage’s men have registered just a sole win from their last seven matchups outside of Gloucestershire.

Bet: Goal to be scored in both halves at Tamworth vs Forest Green Rovers 7/10 for Wednesday’s National League matchup @ Pribet
