Extending on their FA Trophy adventure on March 1st as they secured a shock 2-0 victory against National League side Sutton, the former Hartlepool boss has seen his squad suffer just a pair of defeats from any of their previous 11 appearances across all competitions. Skyrocketing their way into the top-half of the table, Spennymoor will also be excited by their continued dominance on home soil. In fact, Tuesday’s hosts have lost just one of their last 12 showdowns in Durham – a purple patch that stems all the way back to October 29th.

As for the visitors, getting Tuesday’s trip to Durham underway with just their goal difference keeping them outside the drop zone, Needham Market have a real battle on their hands in the race to avoid an immediate seventh-tier return. Failing to claim consecutive National League North victories since the start of September, Needham Market should have another stern challenge on their hands in midweek.
