Two camps who are desperately seeking their own respective Eliteserien boosts on Saturday evening, Molde will travel to Fredrikstad.

With that rut stemming back to a 1-0 victory against KFUM Oslo on May 16th, Fredrikstad have also shown some real issues in the final third. With their struggles underlined by a routine 3-0 defeat at the hands of Viking on June 22nd, Saturday’s hosts have recorded just a single Eliteserien goal in almost 300 minutes of action.

As for the visitors, breaking what has been a string of unwanted records since opening up the 2025 campaign, Molde have come under a huge amount of scrutiny. At the heart of what has become a remarkable relegation scrap, the Norwegian giants get this weekend’s fixtures underway holding just a two-point buffer from slipping into the drop zone. Last seen falling to a toothless 1-0 defeat away at Tromso, Per-Mathias Hogmo has some serious pressure on his shoulders at the Aker Stadion. Getting June underway with another 1-0 loss against Viking, Saturday’s guests have lost three of their previous four Eliteserien appearances. Likewise, the blues have also lost seven of their previous eight appearances across all competitions – a run that stems all the way back to May 11th.
