Best Toppings & Beascuits in Cookie Run Kingdom

Charcoal Cookie is the newest magic-type cookie to be introduced to Cookie Run: Kingdom. Though slightly outshone by Silent Salt Cookie, this epic-rarity character is much easier to get your hands on compared to the elusive fifth beast.

If you want a fairly capable damage dealer that you’re going to be able to promote quickly, Charcoal Cookie is currently your best bet with his featured gacha. Here’s how you should build him so that he can reach his full potential.

Silent Chocolates Are The Way To Go

When Charcoal Cookie uses his skill “Tombkeeper’s Rite,” he summons tombstones that release dark-damage-dealing spirits. The spirits shackle enemies and charge his lantern. If an enemy is defeated, the lantern gains additional energy.

After his skill ends, a fully charged lantern with 40 stacks of the “power of spirits” releases “Cleansing Light,” which deals dark damage equal to 506.4% of Charcoal Cookie’s attack power.

If Silent Salt Cookie is present on the battlefield with Charcoal Cookie, the spirits will inflict an additional damage-increasing debuff onto enemies. Cleansing Light also grants Silent Salt buffs that increase his Darkness and Steel-type critical hit damage.

Charcoal Cookie acts a lot like an offensive-based support character, and doesn’t deal a lot of raw damage compared to his other magic-type counterparts. He is the most effective when he can inflict his debuffs quickly and summon as many spirits as possible, meaning the best choice of toppings for him is chocolates.

He can use resonant silent toppings, so you should try to get him a full set of Silent Chocolates. However, regular epic Swift Chocolates still improve his skill in the meantime, if you haven’t managed to get your hands on any.

Make The Most of His Element Or Make Him Less Squishy

Cookie Run Kingdom Legendary Zesty Beascuit

As a magic-type character like Shadow Milk Cookie, Charcoal Cookie will benefit from the use of a legendary zesty beascuit. He deals dark elemental damage, so you can choose to use a dark variant to add an extra guaranteed boost to his offensive power.

You can always reduce his cooldown further, but If you want him to stand much of a chance in more competitive gamemodes, increasing his dark damage or general damage output is a good choice.

However, due to him only being of the epic rarity and not having a very high defense, you’ll probably start to see him die more often as you progress through the arena.

I’d recommend also trying to get some damage resistance on him because of this, though you shouldn’t need to worry much about him being too squishy if you’re only using Charcoal Cookie for World Exploration in Cookie Run: Kingdom.
