Bayern face struggle to keep Olise amid Real Madrid and Manchester City interest

According to Teamtalk, Bayern Munich are braced for Real Madrid and Manchester City coming for the services of Michael Olise.

From a winger with plenty of potential at Crystal Palace, Olise has developed, relatively quickly, into a key attacking player for the Bundesliga champions, and such a climb was always likely to attract interest from other top clubs. At the age of just 23, there is obviously plenty of time and room for further progress for the France international.

In 2024/25, Olise made a total of 55 appearances in all competitions for the Bavarians, scoring 20 goals and contributing 23 assists, and helping his team win the Bundesliga title back from Bayer Leverkusen.

Both Real and City see Olise as an excellent candidate to increase the number of high-quality options on the attacking flanks. However, they will be aware that his contract at Bayern is valid until the summer of 2029, and no release clause has been reported. It means they must be prepared to pay big, most likely well over €100million, for Bayern to even consider entering into any negotiations over a potential transfer.
