“My family was in the room and when the West Indies batters were hitting, papa gaali dete the ki kya kar raha hai (father was cursing what are they doing). So I was like, it’s okay, don’t be angry and just enjoy the match and hope South Africa win!” Arshdeep recounted with a grin, highlighting the intense emotional investment of the families.

Regarding the explosive West Indies lineup, Arshdeep noted, “It’s not like they have only one gear. Today, if you look, they played really nicely in the middle as well.
