Arsenal pair Reiss Nelson and Leandro Trossard are wanted by Premier League rivals Nottingham Forest, as the City Ground outfit seek to add attacking reinforcements to their squad ahead of the new season. It is understood that Nottingham Forest are confident a deal can be agreed with the Gunners for both players if necessary.
Forest’s preference would be to sign Trossard, although the Belgian winger has been linked with a move to both Fenerbahce and Galatasaray in Turkey, and is said to be open to a move abroad. The player had regular first-team football last season for Arsenal but the arrivals of Noni Madueke and Viktor Gyokeres means that Trossard is likely to be a backup player this season and could be available for £25 million.
In Reiss Nelson, Forest will need to battle with Fulham to sign the Englishman, who has been told that he is free to leave the Emirates Stadium. Arsenal have told Fulham that the player would be available for as little as £5 million, and Forest are now set to communicate to Arsenal that they are willing to better that offer with a bid of £7.5 million for the winger.
Forest are seeking attacking signings after allowing Anthony Elanga to leave for Newcastle United earlier in the transfer window.
