Arsenal are reportedly keen on landing Eintracht Frankfurt defender Nathaniel Brown during the winter transfer window, according to Bild in Germany.
The Gunners strengthened their backline during the summer with the signings of Cristian Mosquera and Piero Hincapie from Valencia and Bayer Leverkusen.
Hincapie was a deadline day signing on loan, but the Gunners have agreed an obligation to buy him during next summer’s transfer window, as per Leverkusen’s official website.
Despite this, the London giants continue to be linked with defenders and it is claimed that they could swoop for the services of Brown, who is a left-back by trade.
Arsenal are well loaded in the department at the moment. Riccardo Calafiori is an undisputed starter as of now with Myles Lewis-Skelly being the backup.
The likes of Hincapie and Jurrien Timber can also operate in the role and there is no need for the Gunners to invest in another recruit in the department.
The speculation could be agent-driven to attract other suitors.
