Jadon Sancho, who spent last season on loan at Chelsea but failed to secure a permanent move, could be allowed to leave once more on loan this season. It is understood that Arsenal are weighing up a deal for the former Borussia Dortmund star that could also include a clause to sign Sancho on a permanent basis.
Chelsea opted not to make a move permanent for Sancho after a less than impressive campaign in 2024-25, but Arsenal believe Sancho could be a great fallback plan should a deal for Rodrygo or Noni Madueke fail to be completed.
Leandro Trossard could depart for Fenerbahce before the transfer window closes, and Sancho is said to be interested in a move to Juventus but would prefer to stay in England.
Arsenal signed Raheem Sterling on loan last season but the winger failed to live up to expectations, however Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is said to be a fan of Sancho and would like to speak to the player before he makes a transfer decision.
Man Utd manager Ruben Amorim has told Sancho that he is free to leave the club. Juventus are rumoured to have offered £8.6 million for the former Man City player.
