Arsenal could receive a major financial boost in January due to the release clauses in the contracts of Nuno Tavares and Brooke Norton-Cuffy, according to football.london.
The Gunners sold Tavares on a permanent basis to Lazio after a loan stint with the Serie A outfit, but they also agreed a significant sell-on clause of around 25 to 35 percent.
The club could benefit from the same in January with Saudi Pro League giants Al-Ittihad aiming to purchase the Portuguese left-back.
The north London giants could likewise get a big sell-on fee from Norton-Cuffy’s move away from Genoa. Inter and Juventus are keen on him.
The 21-year-old right-back failed to make the grade with the Gunners, but he has been hugely successful since his move to Serie A with Genoa.
Arsenal are not planning to make any high-profile signings in January and are expected to wait until the end of the season to do so, as things stand.
