Odegaard & Havertz back for Spurs

Arsenal have been handed a double injury boost ahead of the Premier League clash against Tottenham Hotspur on the road on Sunday evening.

The Gunners are currently five points ahead of Manchester City at the top of the standings, but the latter have a game in hand against Crystal Palace.

Arsenal have dropped points with draws in the last two matches and they have the chance to make amends against Tottenham away from home.

Ahead of the north London derby, manager Mikel Arteta has provided some positive news on the injury front.

The Spanish tactician said that there is a big possibility that Martin Odegaard and Kai Havertz could make the matchday squad.

Odegaard has been nursing a knee injury picked up at Brentford, while Havertz has been out with a hamstring problem of late.

Both players have returned to team training. They will be assessed over the next 24 hours in preparation for Sunday’s crunch derby.
