Arsenal expected to make Eze approach
Football Transfer Centre

Arsenal are expected to open talks with Crystal Palace over the transfer of Eberechi Eze, according to Ed Aarons.

The Gunners have already signed Kepa Arrizabalaga, Martin Zubimendi and Christian Norgaard during the summer.

They are also expected to confirm the arrival of Chelsea winger Noni Madueke once the formalities are done with.

It is now reported that the club are expected to make a formal offer to land Eze, who made 25 goal contributions last term.

Eze has given the green light for the transfer, and Arsenal now need to find a suitable agreement with the Eagles for him.

The 27-year-old has a release clause worth £67.5 million in his contract, but the same is payable in three yearly instalments.

Hence, Arsenal have some financial leeway, but they may seek to lower the valuation further before finalising an agreement.

It has been claimed that the Gunners could be willing to include a player as a makeweight to lower the final fee for the deal.
