Grab a roll of store-bought cinnamon rolls and make adorable Easter cinnamon roll bunnies for breakfast using this easy method!

If you want to make an adorable Easter treat this year, bake these festive bunny-shaped cinnamon rolls! All you have to do is slightly unroll them and shape some cute bunny ears on the top. After baking, I added the frosting that comes with the rolls and then added chocolate chip eyes, a fruit snack nose, and almond teeth. What a fun and easy food craft for the kids to help with, too!

prep time: 10 MINUTES

cook time: 23 MINUTES

total time: 33 MINUTES

Here’s how to shape and decorate cinnamon rolls so they look like Easter bunnies.

1

Preheat the oven according to the package instructions.

2

Open the container of cinnamon rolls. Unroll about 1/4 of each roll, and shape two bunny ears on the top. Pinch them at the base so they are secure and pointing upwards.

3

Bake the cinnamon rolls according to package directions, and let cool.

4

Spread the icing that comes with the rolls. Add the face details using 2 chocolate chips for the eyes, a fruit snack for the nose, and sliced almonds for the teeth.

Tips for making the best cinnamon roll bunnies:

  • When looking for store-bought cinnamon rolls, I would opt for the larger Pillsbury Grands rolls. I tried a smaller variety last year and they didn’t work out.
  • When shaping the bunny ears, make sure they are kind of pointing up. You can pinch the base of the ears together to get more of a bunny shape so the ears are long. My very first batch looked like cats! 🐱😂
  • You can also bake these Easter bunny cinnamon rolls using your air fryer! There are directions right on the container to do so.

We typically make cinnamon rolls on special occasions like Easter brunch, so this is an adorable way to bake them! If you are having a larger gathering, it would be easy and fun to make a bunch of cinnamon bunnies for everyone. We first spotted these on Instagram last year, and they were a big hit at my house. I hope you are able to make some and have fun!
