Toby Fox’s Undertale is still one of the most influential indie games out there, with the appeal of its successor, Deltarune, only growing as more Chapters are released. The characters, locations, and story of Undertale are beloved by fans, but arguably the most memorable part of the game is its soundtrack. So many individual songs are instantly recognizable to some audiences, so it makes sense that it is gaining a larger orchestral effort.

There have been multiple concerts featuring Undertale‘s music, and sometimes even Deltarune‘s, with the latter game quickly producing tracks that rival its predecessor. From “Megalovania” and its place in meme culture or as an intimidating boss theme to “Bonetrousle” being light and whimsical, there’s plenty of variety. The diversity in Undertale‘s OST is more than enough to fill up a lengthy, professional performance.

New Concert Series Features An Incredible Orchestra Across The World

A new orchestral tour for Undertale has been announced for 2026, called “Undertale: The Determination Symphony” in a worldwide series of performances outreaching to many unique audiences. Curated by series creator Toby Fox, this set of concerts is marketed to take you “on an emotional musical journey through the Underground, from your first steps among the Ruins to the final moments of your adventure.”

Each concert will feature 25 different songs from Undertale‘s soundtrack, showing off new arrangements and gameplay footage while the orchestra plays. Toby Fox has claimed that one of these concerts “brings iconic characters, battles, and emotional moments vividly to life through music,” implying emotional performances from true professionals. Starting in August 2026, this tour will travel to 32 different locations over five months, ending near the end of the year in December 2026.

The first part of “The Determination Symphony” begins on August 23, 2026, starting in the USA and moving on to different countries from there. Here are all the different locations the concert tour will visit, as well as one which days:

Some of the best gaming soundtracks are ones that last over time, becoming integral in the minds of fans across genres. Undertale‘s soundtrack certainly fits that requirement, as its OST has become a defining piece of not only the RPG genre, but of many gaming spheres as a whole. For many, Undertale is one of the most important games from the 2010s, representing a minimalist approach that sparked many other great titles since.

The excitement surrounding this concert series is unsurprising, but another reminder of how this game’s music has continued to be a landmark in its art form.
