Predicted Arsenal line-up vs Leverkusen, Gyokeres starts

Arsenal take on Bayer Leverkusen on the road in the first leg of the Champions League round of 16 tie tonight.

Ahead of the game, manager Mikel Arteta could make 10 changes to the starting XI from the FA Cup fifth round win at Mansfield Town.

Formation: 4-3-3

Predicted Line-up:

David Raya is an undisputed starter in the Champions League and he is expected to replace Kepa Arrizabalaga between the sticks against Leverkusen.

The backline should be the same from the 2-1 win over Chelsea at the Emirates Stadium. William Saliba is fit and should partner Gabriel Magalhaes in the central defensive department.

Jurrien Timber and Piero Hincapie are poised to continue in the full-back positions, while Martin Zubimendi and Declan Rice are expected to be reinstated in the heart of the midfield tonight.

Further forward, Bukayo Saka and Viktor Gyokeres are likely to start in the right wing and striker positions respectively. We fancy Eberechi Eze in the number 10 role with Gabriel Martinelli on the left wing.

Predicted Arsenal line-up (4-3-3) vs Leverkusen: Raya; Timber, Saliba, Gabriel, Hincapie; Zubimendi, Rice, Eze; Saka, Gyokeres, Martinelli.
