Bayern keen to extend Harry Kane contract amid Barcelona links

Harry Kane has recently been linked with Barcelona, as the Catalans seek to identify a long-term successor to Robert Lewandowski. Having already succeeded the Polish veteran at Bayern Munich, Kane recently played such notions down, saying he was very happy at the Allianz Arena.

Nonetheless, Bayern are very keen to end all speculation on that front, and according to Fabrizio Romano, and having tied down defender Dayot Upamecano to a new contract, they intend to do the same with the England captain soon.

Since joining Bayern from Tottenham Hotspur in 2023, Kane has had 161 goal contributions (130 goals, 31 assists) in just 133 matches across all competitions for the club – truly remarkable numbers.
