Scary Movie 6 is on its way, and promises to deliver hilarious parodies and the return of the OG stars in a trailer that is making fun of modern horrors and also the current state of affairs.

It has been 13 years since the last Wayans brothers comedies, and now they have come together to deliver another addition to a much-loved franchise. Regina Hall and Anna Faris are also returning to bring comedy gold and to take shots at some of the major horror movies in recent years, including a couple of Oscar-nominated flicks.

The trailer for Scary Movie 6 features a nod to many horror movies, including Scream VI, M3GAN, Wednesday, Ma, Sinners, Everything Everywhere All At Once, Get Out, Smile, Weapons, Longlegs, The Substance, and Terrifier. Of course, not every parody will be featured in the trailer, and it’s clear they aren’t holding back punches when it comes to the dark humor on current topics and making sure to let everyone know it’s okay to laugh.

More news to come…
