Odegaard set for return to XI?

Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard could be reinstated into the starting line-up when the Gunners entertain Chelsea in the Premier League tomorrow.

The Gunners are currently just two points ahead of Manchester City at the top of the table and have the chance to extend the gap against the Blues.

Ahead of the London derby, there is speculation that Odegaard could be back in the starting XI. He could slot into his regular number 10 role again.

Eberechi Eze played in the role against Tottenham Hotspur last weekend. The Englishman was brilliant for the Gunners, bagging a scintillating brace.

Despite this, there could be a change in position for the highly-rated playmaker. He could move to the left wing to facilitate Odegaard’s return.

Trossard has had a noticeable dip in league form over the past few months and he could be axed from the starting XI against the Blues tomorrow.

Arsenal will be eyeing an eighth win in 11 matches against the Blues on Sunday.
