GTA 6 Gameplay Leak Shows True Scale Of Game’s Open-World, Say Goodbye To Your Lives

There are just nine months to go until Grand Theft Auto 6 is finally launched. If there is not another delay, that is. However, with the homestretch now upon us, fans are feeling the hype for what is expected to be the biggest game launch of all time. With Rockstar’s upcoming installment expected to feature an impressive open-world map, full to the brim with secrets, quests, random encounters, activities, and more, we may not be prepared for the scale of this entry.

Unfortunately, Grand Theft Auto VI has been the subject of multiple hacks over the years, leading to some information being unveiled prematurely. With some leaks being legit, whilst others are merely rumors, one fact remains: Grand Theft Auto 6‘s expansive open-world map will blow our minds.

There is a reason why Grand Theft Auto 6 has been in development for the past decade, and has faced multiple delays, and we can safely assume that is due to the sheer scale of the game. With Rockstar’s attention to detail being unmatched, it is hard to imagine how ambitious this game will be, but according to a since-deleted social media post by GameRoll, we are definitely not ready.

Posted last year, the gaming and Rockstar content creator took to Twitter to share a list of some of the gameplay features, locations, and events that will star in Grand Theft Auto VI, as shared by Reddit user TheEternalGazed. Of course, this has not been confirmed by Rockstar or shared by an official account, so it is worth taking with a pinch of salt. However, it is interesting to see nonetheless, especially as the two official trailers have already hinted at some things on the list.

This includes such things as the return of the 6-star wanted level, a relationship bar which will act like the Honor system in Red Dead Redemption 2, weight mechanics, explorable underwater areas, the option to greet or antagonize NPCs, Jason’s dead eye-like ability, male strippers, limited weapon system, accessible shopping malls and skyscrapers, 700+ shops, and more. GameRoll also reveals that Grand Theft Auto VI’s story will be split into chapters, much like RDR2, with five chapters in total, and players will be able to play as Lucia, Jason, or even both in certain missions.

Don’t Expect Any More Gameplay Leaks Ahead Of Launch

Despite many attempts by hackers and insiders alike, Rockstar has managed to keep the majority of Grand Theft Auto VI‘s story close to its chest. We know that Jason and Lucia will embark on a Bonnie and Clyde-esque adventure, but we don’t know how this will play out, or more importantly, how it will culminate in the finale.

Now that we are in the final few months of waiting, it is hard to believe that it has been well over a decade since we last experienced the latest Grand Theft Auto title. The one thing we do know is that the wait for Grand Theft Auto 6 will definitely be worth it.
