Red Dead Redemption 2 Free Online Content Available To Claim For 24 Hours

In the world of Red Dead, crime pays, and in this latest Red Dead Redemption 2 update, its online community will be able to get their hands on some free rewards, ranging from extra gold to XP, cosmetics to collectibles. Kicking off on 3 February, you have until 2 March to get your hands on these freebies, so if you are an outlaw who still finds yourself ruling the wild west, you will want to take up Rockstar on this limited-time offer.

Red Dead Redemption 2 Gamers Have 24 Hours To Grab This Online DLC

In the brand-new update, “Guido Martelli, right-hand man to the notorious mob boss Angelo Bronte, invites you to join the dangerous ranks of the criminal underworld” and it is through this job that you will be able to complete Crime Contracts and Blood Money Opportunities in order to bag yourself 3x RDO$, Gold, and XP, up until 2 March.

However, if you are anything like me, then you will be more interested in the free cosmetics that are up for grabs and this latest Crime Pays update does not let us down. Returning for a limited time is the Nosalida Outfit, which can be assembled for the first time since the Outlaw Pass 1 event. Consisting of the Nosalida Sombrero, Coat, Boots and Half Chaps, Pants, Vest, Shirt, and Neckerchief, the set will see you look like a fully-fledged wild-west outlaw. So, if you missed out on the outfit the first time around, make sure you do not make the same mistake twice.

Red Dead Online Doesn’t Get The Support It Deserves

We all know that the Red Dead franchise is one of the most loved, with Red Dead Redemption 2 now being regarded as one of the greatest video games of all time. However, many fans do not appreciate its online component, Red Dead Online. Allowing players to create their very own outlaw, take part in heists, missions, and treasure hunts, meet interesting NPCs, and of course, team up with friends, RDO has not received the same attention as Rockstar’s Grand Theft Auto Online. I appreciate that Red Dead Online has not received the same support as GTA Online from Rockstar itself, but it still offers a unique experience, allowing players to continue on in Arthur’s footsteps whilst racking up that gold.

Additionally, with Red Dead Redemption 3 still not being hinted at by Rockstar, it makes for the perfect way to keep the franchise alive in between installments and, I don’t know about you, but getting to be a cowboy is pretty damn cool.
