Man Utd handed boost for Palace

Manchester United have been handed a huge injury boost before the Premier League clash against Crystal Palace at Old Trafford on Sunday.

The Red Devils have been in tremendous form under new manager Michael Carrick and have picked up 16 points from the last six matches.

They are currently three points ahead of Chelsea and Liverpool for the fourth spot and will be aiming to increase the gap with another victory.

Lisandro Martinez was ruled out of the recent win at Everton with a calf injury, but the setback is only a minor and he could be fit pretty soon.

Centre Devils claim that Martinez has already returned to individual training and could make the matchday squad to face the Eagles this weekend.

It remains to be seen whether he will be reinstated in the starting XI. Leny Yoro had a good outing in central defence in his recent absence at Everton.

Yoro could be rewarded with a second-straight league start.
