The Legend Of Zelda Finally Gives Us Something New In March

Fans of The Legend of Zelda are finally getting something to celebrate Zelda’s 40th birthday with this brand-new release from LEGO. While it isn’t exactly the huge Nintendo announcement regarding the next mainline game or an official remake, it’s better than absolutely nothing, which is what fans got on the official anniversary date that passed on February 21.

That said, it’s safe to assume Nintendo has something else in store in the coming months, considering they historically haven’t made any major announcements on the exact anniversary dates of their IPs. Fans can expect a new Zelda announcement later this summer most likely, as it’d be a massive missed opportunity on Nintendo’s part if they ignored the 40-year milestone altogether.

Ocarina Of Time Is Back… In LEGO Form

This new LEGO kit is a must-grab for fans of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, and it’s relatively reasonable in terms of cost compared to some of the more gigantic sets available. “The Final Battle” LEGO set runs at roughly $130 USD and is available for pre-order now, with an expected ship date of March 1.

The awesome new Zelda LEGO kit comes in at 1,003 pieces and features Link and Zelda in the final fight against Ganondorf, showcasing the last epic standoff from Ocarina of Time. It’s the first major Zelda LEGO release since 2024’s “Great Deku Tree 2-in-1” set, and is a perfect way for players to celebrate 40 years with the franchise.
