How Was Your Weekend? Staying Cozy?

My loves, how was your weekend? Brooklyn got a whopping two feet of snow! The tree branches look so beautiful, and how many snowmen can you spot above?

This was our street this morning! Fifteen-year-old Toby was THRILLED when Mayor Mamdani announced that Monday would be a snow day.

Side note: When Mamdani was running for mayor, he famously corrected the pronunciation of his name at the Democratic primary debate, and I loved this Instagram reel response.

On Saturday night, Toby and I met our friend Claire and her daughter at Sal Tang’s, a Cantonese-American restaurant near us.

And after dinner, Claire got the world’s worst fortune. I mean, is that even a fortune? Sounds more like a threat.

Meanwhile, Anton and his dad are traveling and their flight got canceled because of the snowstorm! Extended time apart from your kids is a hard part of divorce, I have to say. I miss that little guy so much. Counting the hours until he gets home on Wednesday.
