Resident Evil fans have been incredibly lucky over the past few years with some excellent remasters, remakes, and even brand-new entries to look forward to. While there is no shortage of great Resident Evil games to play already, a significant amount of leaks seem to promise that we have 3 upcoming entries in the survival horror franchise are already on the horizon, and that’s not even including the latest Resident Evil Requiem.
While we’ve already known about a Resident Evil: Code Veronica remake for some time now, reputable leaker AestheticGamer aka Dusk Golem on X, has offered more detailed leaks for several upcoming new games in the series. From Resident Evil 10, a new Resident Evil 0 remake, and even DLC for Resident Evil Requiem, it seems like Capcom is already prepared for several years’ worth of consistent content drops.
Multiple Resident Evil Games Are In The Works
Excellent News For Resident Evil Fans Everywhere
Although Dusk Golem hasn’t felt like sharing the details about Resident Evil 10 aside from its supposed release window for 2029 or 2030, it’s more than a little reassuring to hear that the next entry in the beloved survival horror franchise is already on its way after the painfully long wait since the previous Resident Evil 4 remastered.
Based on Resident Evil‘s release trends and the current projects in development, it also seems likely we’ll be getting both the Resident Evil: Code Veronica remake, which is currently rumored for a 2027 release, and the leaked remake for Resident Evil 0 coming out only a year later in 2028.
While there’s been some confusion about why we’re already hearing so much about RE0 and its development when we haven’t even seen the next entry with Code Veronica get released, RE0 has apparently had a much smoother development cycle than both Requiem and Code Veronica, which is supposedly seeing an expanded gameplay scope that fleshes out areas like the train even more.
The Future Looks Bright For Resident Evil Fans
You’ll Have No Shortage Of Content To Sink Your Teeth Into
While it’s a little disheartening that we haven’t heard much about the eventual Resident Evil 5 remaster, it’s hard to be too upset given the sheer amount of Resident Evil content that fans are being treated to in the next few years. Even beyond the upcoming remakes, Requiem‘s own will offer even more to sink your teeth into with its upcoming DLC, which is supposedly well into development already.
With Capcom finally getting back on track for their annual release goals, it seems like there is no better time to be a Resident Evil fan with so many contnet to experience for the first time or revisit with an entirely new perspective,
