Red Dead Redemption 2 New Cut Content Added To Game

Red Dead Redemption 2 is considered one of the greatest games of all time thanks to its emotional narrative, engaging gameplay, and memorable characters. Featuring a vast open-world and Rockstar’s dedication to detail, Red Dead Redemption 2 is almost perfect. That being said, you can always improve on perfection, and one fan has found a way to do just that.

Thanks to the return of cut content as well as some of their own additions, A Dynamic World offers fans a collection of mods by creators DickHertz and Tuffy on Nexus Mods.

Red Dead Redemption 2 Cut Content Restored

Rockstar Games

As with many open-world games, it is expected that some content created throughout development will be cut, maybe because it did not fit the artistic vision of the game, or it would mean that the game would not meet a strict deadline. However, that has not stopped the more technologically-minded fans from finding a way to salvage that content and that is what these modders have achieved with A Dynamic World.

First uploaded on 5 February, this mod consists of a collection that aims to restore unused locations and events around the map either permanently or at certain times. For example, the town of Van Horn will now change with the times, with players even able to notice a rope bridge added during 1907. The infamous town of Blackwater will also welcome some changes, including an active port, and even visiting tourists on the weekends.

Bronte’s Mansion and Braithwaite Manor, two locations that are briefly visited throughout Red Dead Redemption 2‘s main quest, will now be accessible (although it will be up to you to find your way in), and the Saint Denis art gallery is also now open to the public at all times.

As If Red Dead Redemption Wasn’t Big Enough

However, that is not all. Red Dead Redemption 2′s already sprawling map will now see Saint Denis’ mayor throw regular parties both on Saturdays and other random days of the week. As such, you will have to head over and make the most of the festivities on eligible days. Also, throughout the week, the Grand Korrigan will head out to see, offering you a ride along the way, and even the Van Horn lighthouse will switch on its fog light every night except Sundays.

As you can see, these are all simple additions but all work to make the world of Red Dead Redemption 2 feel more alive than ever. Now the world will grow and change alongside Arthur, and give you enough incentive to explore the map more than ever.

Better yet, this collection of mods is free to download for those who own Red Dead Redemption 2 on PC.
