Real Madrid target Manchester City star Phil Foden

Real Madrid are interested in signing Phil Foden from Manchester City in the summer of 2026, according to Sports Boom. The Spanish powerhouse reportedly view Foden as ‘the final, crowning piece of their New Galacticos puzzle’.

Foden is good friends with his England international team-mate Jude Bellingham, who is a star for Madrid. This is the ‘primary trump card’ that Los Blancos are planning to use to convince Foden to switch to Estadio Bernabeu. Paris Saint-Germain are also said to be keen on a 2026 summer deal for Foden.

Man City, though, have no plans to sell Foden anytime soon and are planning a contract for life for the 25-year-old. The England international is a key player for the Man City first team and is also ahomegrown talent. Man City’s plan is to offer Foden £400,000 per week to Foden, who has scored 110 goals and given 65 assists in 353 appearances for the Cityzens so far in his career.
