Michael Keaton continues to be one of Hollywood’s beloved actors, as he has brought his talent to the big screen over the last couple of decades in many different roles. Throughout Keaton’s movie career, the Academy Award-nominated stardom has only continued to shine throughout the various projects he has taken part in.

Keaton, who is no stranger to the sci-fi and fantasy genre, is now seeing one of his biggest box office hits surge on the streaming charts, as Spider-Man: Homecoming has become a worldwide sensation on HBO Max. According to FlixPatrol, the Marvel Studios/Sony Pictures entry is currently trending at #1 on the Warner Bros.-owned streaming service in multiple countries.

The Tom Holland-starring film is holding the #1 spot on HBO Max in Venezuela, Brazil, Chile, Mexico, Bolivia, Colombia, Costa Rica, Haiti, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Salvador, Bahamas, Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Belize, Honduras, and Nicaragua. Spider-Man: Homecoming is also enjoying success for HBO Max subscribers in Argentina, as it is trending as #2.

Originally released on July 7, 2017, the Spider-Man: Homecoming movie served as the proper reboot of the web-crawler, following Holland’s MCU introduction in Captain America: Civil War. Keaton became the first actor to ever play Marvel’s Vulture in live-action, with Adrian Toomes serving as the big bad during Peter Parker’s early days in the MCU timeline.

While it is not on HBO Max in the United States, Spider-Man: Homecoming is available for streaming on Disney+ for American subscribers. However, this wouldn’t be the last time that Keaton portrayed the iconic Marvel foe, as he reprised the role in 2022’s Morbius, which was set to lead into a larger arc revolving around the Sinister Six.

The timing for Spider-Man: Homecoming’s surge is perfect, as the world is only a few months away from Holland’s return as the Marvel icon. Set to open on July 31, Spider-Man: Brand New Day will be the British actor’s fourth solo film for Peter Parker in the MCU.
