Prince Andrew’s Daughters Feel ‘Duped’ by Epstein Scandal Revelations

Prince Andrew, father to Princess Eugenie and Beatrice, has been extensively mentioned in the Epstein files and, as a result, has had his titles stripped and benefits taken away by the royal family. However, he has maintained his innocence to the public, the courts, and his family.

But, with the latest slew of Epstein files to the tune of 3 million documents, it appears that Prince Andrew may have been lying. His daughters, who allegedly chose to believe their father’s insistence rather than think of him as a monster, feel ‘duped’ by him. Sources close to the family say that the newly released evidence has deepened the rift between Andrew, his wife, and his daughters.

For both Princess Eugenie and Beatrice, it was easier to believe their father’s claims of innocence when he was first named in the Epstein files. Despite the evidence, he downplayed his involvement. However, now he is further implicated, and it is becoming harder for them to accept his innocence. As mothers to young children, the reality of what he may have done is difficult to accept.

The new release of the Epstein files has already disproved claims by Prince Andrew that he cut off all contact after 2010. Only a day after the release of the image of Virginia Giuffre being held by Andrew, it appeared that he emailed Epstein with the words, “It would seem we’re in this together.” This implies not only that he still maintained contact but that he was aware of the crime he was committing at the time.

To make matters worse for the two daughters of the disgraced royal is the revelation that their mother was also involved with Epstein while they were still young women. Email correspondence between Princess Fergie and Epstein implies a close relationship, with Epstein asking to meet her daughters. The emails imply that she took them to visit him just after his 2009 release from prison.

She also appears to ask him for work, saying, “I am feeling very traumatised and alone. I am wanting to work for you at organising your houses.”

Being included in the Epstein files doesn’t imply guilt, but for the two daughters, knowing their parents have lied to them about their involvement with the situation has been very upsetting. Already, due to the information released about Andrew, a visible distance has grown between Andrew and his daughters. For the most part, the two women have kept quiet about their feelings towards their parents, but their actions speak volumes.
