Its very next event, unveiling the next steps for Dragon Ball’s video game future, confirmed plans for its newest title as of 2026, Age 1000.

Dragon Ball has had a rich gaming history far beyond even recent hits like Kakarot, Sparking! Zero, or FighterZ. The franchise has been present across decades of video gaming hardware, and this latest project keeps the excitement alive to show the world of Akira Toriyama is still firing on all cylinders.

Dragon Ball Confirms New Game at 40th Anniversary Live Stream

Following a brief introduction, the latest footage of Dragon Ball’s next game project was showcased to the eager attendees at its “Dragon Ball Genkidamatsuri” event. Along with hopes being rekindled thanks to Dragon Ball Super’s anime return, this will surely keep the fans happy as they dive back into the rich, multifaceted world of Dragon Ball video games.

The game is planning additional details to be revealed between April 18-19 for Dragon Ball Games Battle Hour 2026. Featuring its player character originally designed by Akira Toriyama, Age 1000 has been in development for approximately seven years now.
