Manchester United striker Joshua Zirkzee is expected to make the switch to Roma next month, according to Centre Devils.
The Netherlands international has made only four Premier League starts under manager Ruben Amorim during the ongoing campaign.
He has scored a couple of goals during this period, but Amorim does not believe the Dutchman suits his current playing style.
Zirkzee is likewise keen on leaving the Premier League and feels a return to Italian football would suit him during the second half of the season.
Roma have been in regular contact with the player’s representatives and they are expected to sign him on loan with a conditional buy obligation if they qualify for the Champions League next term.
The Giallorossi are fourth in the league standings and feel Zirkzee is the perfect fit to lead the line for them. Zirkzee is likewise keen on the move to push for a World Cup berth with the Netherlands.
