Havertz could return to matchday squad vs Brighton

Arsenal have been handed a huge boost ahead of the Premier League clash against Brighton & Hove Albion on Saturday afternoon.

The Gunners are presently two points clear at the top of the table and will be eyeing a victory over the Seagulls at the Emirates Stadium tomorrow.

Ahead of the encounter, they have received a big boost with Kai Havertz involved in team training again after his long-term knee injury.

The German has been working with the squad for the some period of time and could make the matchday squad against the Seagulls.

Gabriel Magalhaes has also stepped up with his rehabilitation after his thigh injury, but the upcoming game may come too soon for him.

The Brazilian could be eased back into action and could make an appearance in the FA Cup third round against Portsmouth.

Arsenal have a testing schedule before the New Year. They host Brighton and Villa, both of whom they failed to beat at home last term.
