Fabrizio Romano has revealed that Manchester United are in contact to sign Ruben Neves from Al-Hilal in the January transfer window.

The well-known and well-respected Italian journlaist has claimed that Man Utd have spoken to the agents of Neves, who is out of contract at Saudi Pro League club Al-Hilal at the end of the season.

Romano said on his his YouTube channel: “What I’m told is that Man Utd spoke to the agents of Ruben Neves on several topics. 

“There was a contact to understand some situations and discuss some opportunities but I’m not told that concrete negotiations have started with Al-Hilal.”

Man Utd are seventh in the Premier League table at the moment with 26 points from 17 matches, just three points behind fourth-placed Chelsea.
