Both coaches name first-choice line-ups for crunch Anfield clash

Liverpool will hope to complete the job tonight after securing a 1-0 lead from the first leg of their Champions League round-of-16 tie against Paris Saint-Germain.

The win was not without an element of good fortune as Harvey Elliott came off the bench to net the winner late on after PSG were frustrated by a string of brilliant saves from Reds goalkeeper Alisson.

Luis Enrique’s men are in good form though and have won their last 10 away games in all competitions.

Arne Slot reverted back to the starting XI that played at the Parc des Princes with Andy Robertson, Alexis Mac Allister and Diogo Jota recalled.

The trio were rested for Saturday’s win against Southampton, although all three appeared from the bench with Robertson and Mac Allister introduced at half-time with the Reds trailing 1-0.

Jota also appeared midway through the second half as Liverpool eventually ran out 3-1 winners.

Liverpool: Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Van Dijk, Konate, Robertson; Gravenberch, Mac Allister, Szoboszlai; Salah, Jota, Diaz

Luis Enrique also names the same XI that dominated the first game in Paris.

The former Barcelona and Spain boss made wholesale changes for the weekend game at Rennes, not that it hampered his side as they ran out 4-1 winners.

Paris Saint-Germain: Donnarumma, Hakimi, Marquinhos, Pacho, Mendes, Ruiz, Vitinha, Neves, Barcola, Kvara, Dembele
